Pineapple peeler "Ginaca"

Pineapple peeler / Cylinder Forming Machine - "Ginaca"

Equipment originally designed by the engineer Henry Ginaca (1876-1918) and used in canned pineapple production lines. Tropical food Machinery has evolved the design to fit the needs of modern industry. After washing and calibration, the medium and large fruits are fed to the pineapple peeler, while the remaining fruits are directed to the juice line.

The Pineapple peeler performs tip cutting, cylindrical debarking, and removal of the central stem.

The equipment consists of:

  • Conveyor-feeder;
  • Fruit centering and alignment group;
  • Set of cutting of the extremities, formation of the cylinder and removal of the central stem;
  • Recovery system of the residual pulp of the bark.

Machine capacity: 60 to 80 fruits per minute.

Apis Flora - Concentrated Propolis Line

In 2019, we completed the delivery of a concentrated propolis production line through alcoholic extraction and subsequent vacuum evaporation. The process involves the propolis, initially in the form of wax from the apiary, being added to grain alcohol within a process tank specifically designed for this purpose. In the mixing tank, the product is kept constantly stirred, undergoing successive heating and cooling operations over many hours. After this period, the propolis will be diluted. The settled sediment is discarded, and the product is sent to the concentrator for alcohol evaporation and propolis concentration. The concentration pot facilitates vacuum evaporation, and the evaporated alcohol is recovered in an indirect condenser and sent back to the alcohol accumulation tank. The final product is pure and concentrated propolis. All equipment was constructed following safety standards for explosive atmospheres and ATEX certification. Currently, the line is in perfect operation, adding value to our customer.

Demerara – 1000 Multi-fruit line

Between 2020 and 2021, we successfully completed the delivery of a 1000 Multifruit processing line to Demerara, a company located in Guyana. This partnership marked a significant milestone in the regional fruit processing industry and deserves due recognition.
