Banana processing line

Banana processing line

TFM has great experience regarding to banana puree production and has implemented many projects in many countries. This has contributed to developing innovative technologies in various phases of the process from the receiving of raw material to the aseptic bottling of the puree.

Fruits are received in boxes that feed the line of extraction straight into the washer. Next, fruits go to the conveyor belt of peeling where trained operators perform this operation and segregate unfit fruits; at the end of the conveyor belt fruits are submitted to a fogging using an anti-oxidant liquid (optional) and unloaded in the feed hopper of the mono pump. Adding anti-oxidant is optional and it is possible to produce natural puree, keeping the bananas in an environment with modified nitrogen atmosphere.

Besides the manual peeling system is already available an automated system. TFM peeling machine is already operating with great results and with huge costs cutting. The equipment has an automated cleaning system and nitrogen injection to prevent product oxidation.

Following the process the enzymatic inactivation happens and the waste of peel and seeds are separated. The equipment set can operate in a nitrogen modified atmosphere or vacuum to preserve natural color of the product.

The aseptic line consists of deaerator, homogenizer and tubular sterilizer besides the aseptic filler.

TFM has developed an advanced system of automation controlling temperatures in cascades, which allows maximum control and safe in the process of sterilization of banana puree. Only with this system it is possible to acquire a puree of excellent quality and reach the temperatures of process with maximum precision and minimum oscillations.

TFM aseptic filling machines are already prepared for bottling low acid products therefore are ideals for banana puree.

Apis Flora - Concentrated Propolis Line

In 2019, we completed the delivery of a concentrated propolis production line through alcoholic extraction and subsequent vacuum evaporation. The process involves the propolis, initially in the form of wax from the apiary, being added to grain alcohol within a process tank specifically designed for this purpose. In the mixing tank, the product is kept constantly stirred, undergoing successive heating and cooling operations over many hours. After this period, the propolis will be diluted. The settled sediment is discarded, and the product is sent to the concentrator for alcohol evaporation and propolis concentration. The concentration pot facilitates vacuum evaporation, and the evaporated alcohol is recovered in an indirect condenser and sent back to the alcohol accumulation tank. The final product is pure and concentrated propolis. All equipment was constructed following safety standards for explosive atmospheres and ATEX certification. Currently, the line is in perfect operation, adding value to our customer.

Demerara – 1000 Multi-fruit line

Between 2020 and 2021, we successfully completed the delivery of a 1000 Multifruit processing line to Demerara, a company located in Guyana. This partnership marked a significant milestone in the regional fruit processing industry and deserves due recognition.
